Gardens Open Days
The gardens will be open for free entry on the following dates throughout the year. Entrance to the Palace, the Maze and the Magic Garden will still require a ticket.

- 26 December - Wilderness open for Boxing Day
The Chapel Royal
This is a working community chapel, which means it may be subject to short-notice closures. The Chapel closes on Sundays for religious services and on other holy days.
Upcoming Chapel Closures in 2024:
The Chapel Royal will be closed until 29 September for conservation work. However, please note that the Chapel can still be viewed from the Royal Pew.
Route Closures
East Front Gardens
The East Front Gardens will be closed on the following dates:
- From Wednesday 21 August to Friday 23 August
- From Tuesday 27 August to Monday 02 September
- Saturday 21 September
The Mantegna Gallery
The Mantegna Gallery is closed until 2026. Two paintings from The Triumphs of Caesar can be seen in The Georgian Story / Queen's Apartments during this time.
Little Banqueting House
The Little Banqueting House will be closed until further notice.
20th Century Garden
The 20th Century Garden is closed until further notice.
Kings State Apartments
William III's State Apartments will be closed for flooring repairs from Wednesday 06 November to Friday 15 November.
The east end of William III's Apartments will be closed for conservation from Monday 03 February to Friday 14 February 2025.
Queen's State Apartments
The Queen's State Apartments are closed for conservation on 18 - 20 September 2024.
The Cartoon Gallery
The Cartoon Gallery is closed for conservation on 24 - 28 February 2025.
